Guests scan the QR code on their table and order from their own phone, with no app to download, and choose dine-in or takeaway. Staff ring up walk-in customers at the counter from the same menu. A menu that’s easy to order from
Give each dish or drink a photo and a short description, and set up the choices a coffee shop needs, such as regular or large sizes and add-ons like an extra shot. Guests add a note for the kitchen, like “less sugar” or “no onion”, along with their name. Menu changes go live as soon as you save them, and prices, GST, sizes and add-ons are recalculated on KioSync’s server for every order, so a tampered cart can’t change the bill.
Bring regulars back
Phone-number loyalty on the Basic and Pro plans lets regulars earn points on paid orders with just their phone number, with no app or card, and the admin shows a loyalty summary and your top customers. On the Basic and Pro plans, the earn rate can be changed for your restaurant on request, and redemption is capped at a set share of the bill (20% by default), plus a minimum order and a cooldown, so rewards stay affordable.
A small team can keep up
Each new order is read aloud on the kitchen display in Hindi, Marathi or English, so whoever is behind the counter doesn’t have to keep checking the screen. QR and counter orders come from one menu and land in the same kitchen queue (online orders once they’re paid), and the display resyncs on its own after a Wi-Fi drop. When a table needs water, cutlery or the bill, guests tap a button on the table QR page, and the kitchen screen chimes and shows the table.
Bills and GST without extra software
Paid orders get GST tax invoices with your GSTIN, the CGST/SGST split and financial-year numbering; if your cafe isn’t GST-registered, KioSync issues a Bill of Supply instead. Set a GST rate per item and choose whether menu prices include GST. Staff record whether each guest paid by cash, UPI, card and so on, and you can download a CSV with taxable value, CGST and SGST for your CA. More on GST billing.

Frequently asked questions
Can walk-in customers order at the counter?
Yes. Staff ring up walk-in customers at the counter with KioSync’s counter billing, from the same menu guests order from by QR.
Do I need a POS machine or new hardware?
No. KioSync needs no POS machine or other proprietary hardware: it runs in the browser on phones, tablets and laptops, and guests order on their own phones. A LAN thermal printer is optional, for KOTs and bills printed with the KioSync Windows app.
Can I run a loyalty program?
Yes, on the Basic and Pro plans: guests earn points with just their phone number, and redemption is capped with a minimum order and a cooldown.
Will KioSync work on the tablet I already have?
KioSync runs in the web browser, so a tablet with an up-to-date browser can run counter billing or the kitchen display. The kitchen display also has an Android app (Android 7.0+).
Can guests take their order away?
Yes. Guests choose dine-in or takeaway when they order from the QR menu.
