This Privacy Policy explains how KioSync collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Service. It is intended to comply with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information We Collect

  • Restaurant account data: business name, owner name, contact details, address, tax/registration identifiers, login credentials.
  • Operational data: menus, prices, tables, orders, staff records, and inventory you enter into the Service.
  • Customer data (on behalf of the Restaurant): information end-customers provide when ordering (e.g. phone number, order details, loyalty info). The Restaurant owns/controls this data; KioSync processes it on the Restaurant's behalf.
  • Technical data: device, log, and usage information for security and performance.
  • Payment data: we do not store end-customers' card numbers or banking credentials. Online payments are handled by the Restaurant's payment gateway. Your subscription payment is processed by our payment gateway, which handles card data per PCI-DSS.

2. How We Use Information

To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service; process subscriptions; provide support; send service-related communications; and comply with law.

3. Sharing

We share data only with: (a) service providers needed to run the Service (cloud hosting, payment gateways, communication/voice providers) under confidentiality obligations; (b) where required by law; or (c) with your consent. We do not sell your or your customers' personal data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, accounting, or operational purposes, after which it may be deleted. You may export your data before termination.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption of sensitive credentials, access controls, store-level data isolation) to protect data. No system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at founder@kiosync.in.

We may update this Policy; the latest version will be posted here.
